Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager

Main tasks

  • Create marketing plan aligned to brand & property strategy in consultation with MarCom Manager;
  • Develop compelling campaigns including advertising, promotions, public relations, graphics and collateral to drive consumer awareness;
  • Respond to media inquiries when approached for comments and/or report;
  • Set up the development of corporate and property level social pages such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, etc;
  • Maximize the brand & hotel’s positive exposure in local, national and international markets;
  • Work with eCommerce to verify the hotel’s website and related websites are updated on a regular basis;
  • Write and distribute all press releases for brand, property events and promotions
  • Manage the photo shooting & execution of brand & hotel events;
  • Do the monthly report of news clippings and other online, print, and social media channels;
  • Manage the photo and video shoots, develop shot lists, secure photographer quotes, review images, post on image library;
  • Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (preferably in Marketing, Media, Communications,…);
  • Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal;
  • Excellent oral and written English;
  • Minimum 2 years work experience of similar relevant roles;
  • Familiarity with hotel, services, event organizing;
  • Good problem solving, writing, administrative and PR skills are a must.
