Marketing & Communications Manager

Main tasks

Developing and maintaining budgets

  • Develop and manage all financial, employee engagement for Marketing and Communications Division;
  • Maintain a positive cost management index for Marketing and Communications Division;
  • Utilize budgets to understand financial objectives.

Leading marketing and communications team

  • Manage and be responsible for marketing and communications department;
  • Create marketing plan aligned to brand & property strategy in consultation with Director of Sales & Marketing;
  • Ensure articulation of Company Branding of The Secret Côn Đảo and AKYN Hospitality Group with desired image and position, assure consistent communications of image and position throughout the Company, and assure communications of image and position to all parties, both internal and external;
  • Act as the Company’s representative with the media to maintain and build contacts with the media;
  • Develop, brainstorm and coordinate with relevant departments, suppliers to set up the content marketing system such as hotel collateral, website, imagine & video and other communications information) to promote marketing plan and business of both the company and group;
  • Write and distribute press releases;
  • Develop advertising opportunities, which can involve placing adverts in national, specialist publications or on the other media channels (depending on the campaign);
  • Lead marketing and communications projects, CSR as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.

Digital, social media content management

  • Manage social media engagement and updating content in local digital channels (e.g., The Secret Côn Đảo website, travel sites, Facebook, zalo etc);
  • Develop and execute promotion campaigns in F&B, spa, rooms and conferences through relevant digital and social media channels;
  • Engage in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and responds accordingly;
  • Plan, monitor the online marketing channels such as Google Ads, Google Network, social media or online newspaper to drive traffics to The Secret Côn Đảo websites as KPIs.

Graphics & branding & quality control

  • Develop when required new or additional branding tools to keep up with new trend. Ensure Branding Equity by monitoring its use and application, and respect by all users;
  • Promote transparency is branding usage so all relevant parties are duly aware of their respective responsibility;
  • Responsible for analytics of brand communications and e-commerce to run campaigns and other commercial opportunities.

Requirements

  • Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Economics, Business Administration major;
  • At least 02-year experience on the same position;
  • English: fluent writing and communications skills;
  • Teamwork and collaboration;
  • Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations;
  • Willing to travel;
  • Experience in developing sales promotion strategy, establishing/ operating plans related to brand positioning;
  • Flair for creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation;
  • Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
  • High sense of responsibility and integrity.
