AKYN Group continues on the meaningful charity journey to community

A new spring arrives, bringing hope and excitement for a bright year ahead. Spring is also the season of love and kindness. In order to contribute to a loving and complete Tet to the community, following the success of charity activities in the past year 2020 and 2021, AKYN Hospitality Group organized two charity trips at the beginning of new year 2022 to Quang Binh and Long An province.

Starting the volunteer journey of new year 2022, on January 12, AKYN Group delegation including Chairwoman & CEO – Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thu, Director of Sales & Marketing – Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Mai and Director of Human Resources – Ms. Tran Ngoc Minh Phuong cooperated with local authorities of Dan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh Province to organize a house-giving ceremony for Mr. Ho Thuc’s family in Balooc village and hand over the lighting powerline in Ooc village. These are two items of the project “Ánh sáng đường biên và Mái ấm tình thương” sponsored by AKYN Group, starting from April 2021 to contribute to improving facilities and living standards for the community in frontier region.

At the ceremony, receiving the meaningful gift, Mr. Ho Thoc emotionally said that he and his family was very grateful for the kindness of AKYN Group “This is a big motivation for us to try harder to build a better life. I wish all of you good health, the company will grow bigger and help more people with difficult situations like me.”

On the same day, AKYN Group also handed over the solar power line, installed along the road in Ooc village, which has difficult access and extremely dangerous terrain. After the project is handed over and put into use, it will help local people move conveniently especially at night, contributing to beautifying the village, ensuring traffic safety, village’s security and order.

On January 20, AKYN Group delegation continued their charity journey with the program “Xuân Ấm Áp, Tết Yêu Thương” at Duc Ai Shelter, located in Duc Hanh 2 hamlet, Duc Lap Ha Commune, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province. The shelter was established 17 years ago and is home for lonely and helpless elderly people. The representatives of AKYN Group gave gifts including daily life necessities and money to celebrate the old age of the elderly, contributed by the company’s employees. The visit went well with joy of the elderly and those in charge of the home, and as well unforgettable memories to the delegation for having contributed to bringing about a loving Tet.

“Mindful impact” is one of AKYN Group’s core values and also the guideline for company’s social activities through annual charity programs to difficult lands and situations all over the country. With two meaningful trips beginning the new year 2022, AKYN Group wishes that the journey of love will always be continued and lit in parallel with the company’s development, thereby multiplying and spreading more love to the community.
